Mountain of Lavedan renowned for its alpine and Nordic ski resorts, Hautacam is known to cyclists for the challenge of its ascent.
At each pedal stroke, panoramic views of the Argelès Valley, the Val d'Azun and the peaks of the Vignemale Massif will help you to go to the end of this ascent.

Col du Soulor and Aubisque
These mythical keys are to be included in the prize list of any experienced cyclist! This beautiful climb, a link between Bigorre and Béarn, will take you through the world of high mountains. You will take the impressive thermal road from Eaux-Bonnes to Luchon.
Pierced on a cornice in the rock of the Cirque du Litor, this route is a veritable belvedere to discover the splendors of the Ouzom valley.

The descent from the Pic du Jer
Test of world competitions is an essential course for thrill seekers!
800 m from the city center of Lourdes, you can easily reach the Pic du Jer funicular which will take you to the start of the descent. Before the big jump, enjoy the Panorama over the city of Lourdes, its fortified castle, as well as over the Béout opposite and over the Lavedan valley towards the Pyrenees.
The Tour of the Forests
This route offers the bravest a long hike to discover the forests of Saint-Pé-De-Bigorre and Mourle. After an unusual view of the Lake of Lourdes, you will take a portion of the Chemin Henri IV linking Lourdes to Pau, to then follow the river Mouscle and return to your starting point.
The valley of Batsurguere

The Batsurguère valley, with its hanging villages, is a magnificent valley which requires good physical condition: advice to lovers of climbs!
The richness and diversity of the small built heritage of the villages crossed will delight you.
The Pic du Jer, the Béout and the Pibest will surround you along this circuit.
The Lac des Gaves
A "cushy" outing par excellence, short and without the slightest difficulty, ideal terrain for riding with the children as a family or even getting out a bike that has been hanging in the garage for too long...
You will cross the beautifully maintained hay meadows to skirt the Lac des Gaves, an ideal sector where everyone, whatever their level, will find pleasure in riding!

The Hiking
Gavarnie
You are at the heart of the Pyrenees National Park . There, straddling the Franco-Spanish border, stands the Mont-Perdu massif which exceeds 3000 m in altitude. To the south, the extraordinary canyons of Ordesa, Aniscle and Pineta. Leaning against them, to the north, the country of circuses with the majestic Gavarnie, Troumouse, the largest of all, and Estaube the wildest.
Since 1997, this complex of more than 30,000 hectares has been listed as a World Heritage Site by UNESCO, both for its natural and cultural riches.
Bridge of Spain - Cauteret
7 km from Cauterets, the site of the Pont d'Espagne located at 1500 meters above sea level, reveals wild and unspoiled nature in the heart of the Pyrenees National Park (listed and protected site) and magical landscapes with crystalline contrasts. This is the starting point for the Gaube chairlift and the Marcadau valley.
​ Former pastoral route, the Pont d'Espagne passage once allowed trade with Spain. This valley rich in waterfalls, lakes and landscapes is today classified as "Grand Site Occitanie"

The Valley of Aure Louron
In the village of Arreau, the valleys of Aure and Louron meet. The Church of Jézeau and the Chapel of the Templars of Aragnouet are classified as World Heritage by Unesco under the roads of Santiago de Compostela. Traditions, authenticity, friendliness are cultivated in the 46 mountain villages.
The thermal waters and the 100 lakes contribute to this stunning setting, while the destination's passes are among the legendary passes of the Tour de France.
